Sri Lankan & Singapore Scientists have found proper solution, for the barnacle issue of the Norochcholeii coal power plant

Sri Lankan & Singapore  Scientists have found proper solution, for the barnacle issue  of  the Norochcholeii  coal power plant

Sri Lankan & Singapore  Scientists have found proper solution, for the barnacle issue  of  the Norochcholeii  coal power plant. They have introduce Ultra-low  frequency which was the core technology developed  by  “Ecospec” (http://www.ecospec.com/)  research & development team in Singapore. Senior research scientist who Lalindra(SL), Aravinda(SL), Sathyajith(SL), Louis(Sin),Chew(Sin) has develop the new applicable system for barnacle issue,   which was directly effect to the cooling process of norochcholeii coal  power plant & they ‘ll make a  huge profitable out put for electrical generating process of coal plant. According to the payback calculation, this process  will make to save more than 25 million USD  for Sri Lankan economy .

Puttalam Coal Power Plant named after the location where it is located in the Puttalam District of the Northwestern Province in Sri-Lanka. An important national asset as symbolically it is not only the very first coal fired power plant in Sri-Lanka but also the largest in terms of capacity with a total output of 900MW that incorporated and operational as early as in 2010.

Among which cooling or condenser water is paramount importance in part of the power generation process. Strategically power plants are commonly located by the sea or coastal area to take advantage of the abundant of seawater source as cooling water. Puttalam power plant is no exception and it is taking huge amount of seawater to cater for the cooling purpose considering its scale. To achieve this, purposely built seawater transferring channel is required and in the context of Puttalam Power Plant, seawater is transferred via concrete culverts measuring 3m x 3m and run approximately 400m long before it reaches the pump house. There are 3 separate culverts serving each power station.

However, whenever seawater is involved biological fouling can happen inevitably and this implies that separate fouling control mechanism has to be in placed along the seawater intake channel to prevent the growth of marine organisms that could potentially disrupt the power generation process. Commonly the disruption arises due to constricted flow when the channel is fouled hence reduce the net cross-sectional area of flow transferring channel or worse it can lead to the choking of condenser heat exchanger tubes when there is a lapse in fouling control attributed to ineffective treatment. At times, biofouling can lead to more complex issue like under deposit corrosion which can cause leakages of process flow and exacerbate the condition further. Consequently, this may even lead to abrupt plant shut down that could have detrimental effect to the macro-economy but also the associated cost of maintaining and restoring to working condition can be exorbitant.

In view of the occurrences of bio-fouling and its severity it might be, Puttalam Coal Power Plant is therefore seeking a more cost effective solution that is not only effective and consistent in controlling bio-fouling but also environmentally friendly to address the bio-fouling issue to their seawater intake channel made of concrete culverts. To meet this objectives, proprietary BioMag system encompasses the ultra low frequency electromagnetic wave technology is being proposed.

Abstract
According to solar nebula structured ,our planetary system  bear from accretion of the dust particles and planetesimal period, after that  condensation in solar nebula. Thus most of celestial bodies of our planetary system, like planet, natural satellite, comet, meteorite & asteroids exhibit the different kind of planetary habitable. Base on energy source as a sun like star, carbon as a   most prominent element of life forms on earth & percentage of liquid water which consist of celestial bodies. Due to study of the origin, evolution, distribution & future of life in universe , earth is the only place know to harbor life. It is depend on minimal condition for life such as temperature, water, radiation shielding, the stuff of life , sunlight, oxygen, when planet belongs to G2 type star forming like ours. To revealed evidences for the planetary habitability & harbor life of planet earth, paleontological factors are the one of most prominent way . It’s  provide a unique view into the history of life by showing the forms and features of life in the past &  tell us how species have changed across long periods of the Earth’s history. Though the fossil record does not include every planet and animal that ever lived, also compatibility  substantial evidence for the common descent of life via evolution & tend to explain about other habitable planets(one upon which living beings not unlike terrestrial organisms) like Gliese 581c & Kepler-452b which consisted in out of our solar system. There are  massive possibility of  habitable zone around other stars & search for extraterrestrial microbial life, such as found from the examination of the Allan hills 84001 meteorite  like microfossil .Also undeniable fossils  (meteorite type) which carried out from  aranaganwila _sri lanka , exhibited the ample evidences for extraterrestrial microbial life.  Thus our aims to be explore dominate paleontological factors (Macro fossils/ Pleistocene) in sabaragamu basin sri lanka, which tend to explain comparative model of Harbor life of planet earth.

Background
Sri Lanka Has been Famous as a tourist location since ancient time. Named the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean”. It has been visited written about and acclaimed in many ancient chronicles. Being close to the equator, it has a year – round sunny weather and with its topography it harbors a host of rich biodiversity promoting ecotourism. With a costal belt right round the island it has attract many visitors to its beaches. The ancient history and monuments have called in tourist to its cultural sites.
Currently, after the advent of the terrorist conflict, new vistas have opened up in the tourism trade. These are popularly known as a ‘Eco Tourism’, ‘Nature Tourism’ , ‘Adventure tourism’, ‘ Ayurvedic tourism’, ‘Religious  tourism’, ‘Agriculture tourism’, ‘Cave tourism’, Culture tourism’,ect
Palaeo biodiversity is the biodiversity of ancient times. It addresses ancient man and his interaction with his palaeo environment. It Speak of the geological eras, the prehistoric people. Therefore, this subject has another aspect of interest to the visitor. With the prehistory that dates far back as  125000 BP and its locations situated amidst forests and streams it mainly attracts the ecotourism.
Since this subject has been introduced newly it is not possible to market this product alone. Therefore it is much more convenient to market it along with other product such as ecotourism, nature tourism, adventure tourism and cave tourism.
Batadombalena rock shelter is one such location which can be developed as a polio tourism site. It is situated 2.5 hours from Colombo near Ekneligoda.

Previous excavations
Batabombalena first excavation by P.E.P.Deraniyagala in 1938.The finds included fragmentary human remains and stone artifacts. The excavation was of 4 feet and deraniyagala assigned the assemblage of stone artifacts, in particular the association of microliths and human remains, to the Balangoda phase.
A preliminary examination was made by Dr.S.U.Deraniyagala in 1979 which revealed a rich occupational deposit.Thereafter,an excavation of 2.6 m was conducted.
The stratigraphic sequence of seven main occupational layers and 3 underlying strata directly above bed rock has been described by Daraniyagala in 1982.
Layers 1 – 3 from top downwards were considered to have been described in resent time by the extraction of guano fertilizer for village paddy fields, and leaving of the floor by monks who used to live in the rock shelter. The occupational deposited in layer 4 was described as a massive homogenous stratum with brownish sand and silt containing stone artifacts and faunal remains. Layers 5 and 6 were considered to be the site’s major occupational layer 7 contains many stone artifacts including geometric microliths which were radiocarbon dated to approx 30 000 years BP
